In May 2023, Alliance for Finance Monitoring (ACFIM) and the African election Observers Network (AfEONet) joined the rest of the leading citizen election observers in Africa to the New Realities of Citizen Election Observation in Africa Summit in Accra, Ghana (May 9-11, 2023). A key outcome of the summit was to adoption of the new methodology named: Process and Results Verification for Transparency (PRVT) to replace the renowned Parallel Vote Tabulation (PVT). ACFIM and AfEONet were signatory to the Communique that was one of the cardinal outputs of the Accra Summit for African citizen election observers, 2023.
