Campaigns for Presidential and Legislative elections in Sierra Leone are into the second week, having commenced on May 23 and ending on 22^nd June 2023. Leading citizen election observations group, National Election Watch (NEW-Sierra Leone) has deployed 34 long-term observers for the pre-and post-election period. Dialogues between Government and civil society on peaceful elections are also being held at the auspices of NEW-Sierra Leone.
